Errata

Each to Each

In the written instructions for Row 11 of the Repeated Lace Section One a k2tog was mistakenly written as a ssk. It has been updated on all digital platforms.

This line should read:

11 – k2, kYOk, k4, p1, k1, ◊, k1, p1, k2tog, k2, YO, k2, *p1, k2, YO, k2, ssk, p1, k1, ◊, k1, p1, k2tog, k2, YO, k2* x eight [ten, twelve, fourteen], p1, k2, YO, k2, ssk, p1, k1, ◊, k1, p1, k4, kYOk, k2 [185, 221, 257, 293 sts]

Sheaves

In Round 24 of Chart A stitch 21 has an errant skp symbol. This stitch should be knit.

The ssk-pssf-sl was omitted from the abbreviation descriptions. The instructions for this stitch are as follows:

slip-slip-knit then return the new stitch to left hand needle, pass the next stitch forward over the new stitch and drop off the front of the needle, slip stitch purl-wise back to right hand needle. (two sts dec)

Embowed Cowl

The printed booklet collection for Anzula Cricket has an error in the instructions for the chart.

After working Chart A four times you are instructed to:

Work Chart A 4 times, working center section twice, then work Rows 1–25 once more.

It should read: … work Rows 1 –24 once more.

If you have purchased a printed pattern from an LYS it may contain the following error:

  1. A few more thoughts of possible errors in the written pattern: Repeated Section 2: Row 1, *p,SSK,K5,YO,K1,YO,K5, K2tog should be underlined as a repeat; Row 3: *K1,YO*twice should NOT be underlined as a repeat of the shawl center; Row 5: Line 2 :K3, SSK should read K3, K2tog or else the written chart is incorrect. I could not find these corrections in the Errata thread. I do have a digital version.
Secondly, My digital version has squared everywhere including where the Name of the Shawl should exist. My version does not have any written Title of the Shawl….simply a bunch of squares. Is this right? There’re squares everywhere. At first I thought this might be a new symbol charting system for stitches so I was confused. But now I think it might be a PC platform thing. I am on a MAC…but PDF’s should not change any of this.

    • Thank you for taking the time to communicate your concerns, I will definitely look into this. With regards to the artifacts in the PDF, that sometimes happens if you are using an older version of a Mac based PDF reader. Usually it only happens with italics, I am uncertain why the title of the shawl would be missing as it isn’t in italics.
